TapShack's primary mission is to create the best tasting kombucha while achieving the highest quality possible.  By applying our modern brewing techniques to an ancient craft, we strive to push the boundaries when it comes to innovation.  TapShack kombucha exists to fuel the daily lives of extraordinary individuals through irresistible flavor and the ability to make you feel your very best. 

What TapShack Was...

TapShack originally opened as a small retail location that served locally sourced kombucha & cold brew coffee brands in San Diego.  Driven by their passion for craft beverages, owners Chris & Amanda wanted to create a space to share with their community.  After about 6 months of learning & listening to customer feedback, TapShack began to experiment with their own commercial brews.  After months of testing, TapShack was ready to transition to serving all house-made beverages.  The response was incredible and led to...

What Tapshack is Now...

TapShack began brewing commercially as a two person operation in Pacific Beach in a 350sq ft building using multiple 5 gallon jars.  More brewing vessels were quickly added to support the growing demand and within a few months TapShack maxed out every square inch left in the PB location.  The TapShack tasting room in PB was closed to the public since there was no longer any room to serve. In July 2019 it was decided that TapShack needed a larger space to support the Ocean Beach tasting room and increasing wholesale requests. After searching, TapShack found the perfect location in Barrio Logan.
